About

FLUTTER AND WINK

It all began in 2009 when Lindsay Terrill was fresh out of beauty school and starting her career as a hairstylist. As she started her first salon job doing hair and airbrush tanning, she quickly found herself gravitating more and more toward aesthetic treatments and soon fell in love with the art of aesthetics. She began doing facials, waxing, and eventually laser treatments for her clients.

Then, in 2011, everything changed when Lindsay was trained in eyelash extension artistry. She immediately knew she had a passion for this detailed, intricate craft and the “wow” effect she was able to achieve with every client. She enjoyed building a relationship with each and every client while seeing such a huge transformation immediately with each full set that she did. While working in the Pearl District in Portland, Lindsay soon came to realize there was a huge missed opportunity for this practice on the other side of the river and decided to move her lash business to Vancouver, WA.

Once Lindsay moved her business over to Vancouver in 2014, her clients quickly followed. Word-of-mouth referrals began to spread throughout town, business started booming, and Flutter and Wink was born! Lindsay started hiring employees and bringing on new services at the salon, and Flutter and Wink became a corporation in 2016. Eventually, the business had gotten so popular she ran out of room to keep growing, and in 2018 Flutter and Wink moved to a beautiful, 2,000-square-foot luxury storefront.

Lindsay didn’t stop there – her love of aesthetics never left, and she began to dream of one day turning Flutter and Wink into a lash bar & spa hybrid. In 2022 after years of growing the salon side of the business, Lindsay achieved her dream and remodeled her small lash studio and is now a beautiful luxury lash bar & spa with 17 employees, Flutter and Wink has established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the Pacific Northwest.
