What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is an aesthetic procedure that improves the skin’s overall texture and promises to rejuvenate the skin by erasing fine lines, eliminating wrinkles, and softening the appearance of scars. A microneedling pen is a tool featuring fine titanium needles to create micro-injuries on the upper layer of the skin. The micro trauma then stimulates a natural healing response by directing collagen and elastin to be produced in microscopic wound regions. This procedure can be used virtually anywhere on the body, but it is most commonly used on the face, neck, arms, décolleté and to smooth out stretch marks for people who have lost weight and are left with with sagging and loose skin. It can also be used in conjunction with Plasma Skin Tightening for optimal results.

Why Microneedling?

-Minimizes or eliminates hyperpigmentation, dark spots and sun damage

-Minimizes or eliminates fine lines and wrinkles

-Minimizes or eliminates scarring from acne

-Promotes cell turnover and increased collagen production

-Is virtually pain-free

-Is gentle enough for all skin types

Home Care and Recovery

You may experience some redness and pinpoint bleeding which is very temporary and should only last 1 to 2 days. Your skin may get dry and flake off, which is a completely normal part of the healing process. DO NOT pick at the skin. For the first 24 hours after your treatment, do not put any product on the skin. Use only tepid water to rinse the skin. After the initial 24 hours, you will need to apply an SPF 30 or higher moisturizer on the skin twice a day for two weeks. After 5-7 days, depending on how quickly your skin heals, you may resume your normal beauty routine.

How many sessions?

Many clients see results immediately after microneedling. However, most clients will need three to six treatments to achieve the desired results. The larger or deeper the imperfection is, the more treatments are usually required. Because this process boosts the production of collagen as well as elastin, the appearance of the skin often continues to improve over an extended period of time. Microneedling is also a fantastic precursor to Plasma Skin Tightening.

What does Microneedling Cost?

1 Session $300

3 Sessions $750

4 Sessions $1000
