ProCell Microchanneling

Microchanneling, what is it?

Microchanneling is a noninvasive procedure designed to stimulate your body’s own natural ability to generate collagen, elastin, and other building blocks of healthy skin. By stimulating the outermost layers of the skin, microchanneling can help your body start this process without penetrating into living tissue.

How does Microchanneling  work?

Microchanneling creates tiny perforations in the skin that initiate a natural healing response. These perforations cause a healing cascade that produces new collagen and elastin resulting in firmer, healthier skin. We combine this with a high potency micro-channel delivery solution, cellular renewal serum, and healing accelerator specifically formulated to trigger the collagen producing cells in your body to go into overdrive and create permanent new healthy skin.

What is the Serum used?

ProCell’s Microchannel Delivery Serum contains bone marrow-derived growth factors in a hyaluronic acid suspension. Both of these elements are naturally-occurring in the human body. There are no human, animal, or plant cells, DNA, blood, or any other foreign substances. The product has been used safely and effectively for over a decade.

Microchanneling recovery?

You’ll experience an almost immediate improvement in skin tone, texture, laxity, fine lines and wrinkles. Expect to see long term improvement that resists the aging process when you complete a series of treatments as recommended.

Microchanneling produces maximum stimulation, with minimal inflammation and little to zero down time while maximizing results. The typical recovery involves just a day or so of mild redness. Within 90 minutes after your treatment you can apply the recommended moisturizer and SPF.

Are there any contraindications?

If you have any underlying condition that significantly impairs your immune system, it is a good idea to avoid microchanneling. Examples include but are not limited to active radiation or chemotherapy, uncontrolled diabetes, chronic inflammatory skin disease, Accutane in the past 2 years, hemophilia or similar bleeding disorder. Also anyone with stainless steel allergies should not do this treatment. We also discourage treatments for those who are pregnant or nursing.

How many treatments will I need?

With as few as one treatment, microchanneling has been shown to improve the quality of the skin. We recommend a series of three to six treatments about once a month to dramatically improve your skin’s firmness, smoothness, elasticity, hydration, sensitivity, tone, wrinkles, fine lines, acne scars, age-spots/sunspots, laxity and stretch marks.
